    AS/SET Definition Change Management


    SET/TURN, together with TurnOver, enables you to manage changes to all AS/SET definition types, and also provides several very useful utilities these are:

    • AS/SET repository compare report.
    • AS/SET action diagram source compare command.
    • AS/SET action diagram source merge command.
    • AS/SET cross-reference report.
    • AS/SET action diagram inquiry programs.

    The steps you perform can be run from the TurnOver - AS/SET Interface Menu or by commands you can run directly. An AS/SET Definition is unique in that it may not have a corresponding AS/400 object associated with it. In order to manage AS/SET definitions within the TurnOver environment, we have created nine TurnOver object types:
    • Field (AFLD)
    • File (AFILE)
    • Audit Trail (AAUDIT)
    • Action Subroutine (ASUBR)
    • Data Model (ADMDL)
    • Display Program (ADPGM)
    • Batch Program (ABPGM)
    • Report Program (ARPGM)
    • AS/SET Generated Help text (ASHLP)
